With the coming of after PC age, embedded system has been used in military affairs, medicine and sanitation, scientific research and discovery, and consume electron fields, and has very good future.Embedded system is a computer system, which is focus on application, based on computer technology, and its software and hardware could be pruned, besides embedded system has particular requirement for its reliability, cost, volume and power consume. Embedded system is relative to computer system structure, encode theory and work theory, and come down to all kinds of computer interface and memory technology, such as serial and network interface, Flash and SDRAM memory technology. The processor and interface and memory device will be difference when referring to different applications, but, as far as the researching and developing method of embedded system, they are generally same. So, researching deeply and designing some kind of embedded system will be far-reaching meaning.Because of the wonderful stability and strong network protocol of embedded linux, and its open source and free for using attract more and more embedded designer and enthusiast to prefer it.The purpose of this dissertation is to transplant uClinux for ADSP BF561 EZ-KIT Lite Board. Based on the familiarity with compiling environment and work theory of u-boot, and combine with the character of ADSP BF561 processor, we transplanted the u-boot. And then we transplanted uClinux by adding and amending relative files for ADSP BF561 EZ-KIT Lite Board after analyzing the process of uClinux startup.In order to enable the processor ADSP BF561 to be competent for some complex task, we must develop drivers for the periphery devices. In this dissertation we developed Flash driver, LAN91C111 driver for u-boot. And developed LAN91C111 driver for uClinux, besides we added application TalkTrough in uClinux, in this application, we use SPI interface to configure the codec AD1836, use SPORTS0 to transfer audio data between AD1836 and ADSP BF561.In this application, the developing and compiling environment is Linux cross compiling environment, we use tools in Linux to read source code, sometime we use Source Insight in windows.
