Since the end of the eighties of the 20th century, according to quick development of the modern computer technology, mathematics simulation technology is widely used to use computer as the simulation modeling and simulation experiment tool in the field of scientific research field and engineering. In the field of science and techniques of defence, computer digital sumulation technology become the most advancedted technology in the field of military electronic information system, missile weapon system, Aero-Space project,etc. Without support of simulation technology, the development of great national defence project and weaponry can not be as so fast like today.The database system is the important component of the Radar Simulation System, its main task is to store and manage relevant data and file among system, offer an environment that convenience deposits and read datum information effectively for the whole system, finish work such as insert , update , select , delete , count , print various data in database, finish the safety management of the whole system , including backup and resume data. After comparing all kinds of database management systems model and database management system structure, according to the needs of the system, we will use the RDBMS and it should supporting the customer / server structure . According to comparison in various fields of four kinds of major database on the market and actual conditions and requirement of system , we use Sybase database as the database that used in the system and make brief introduction of its performance and characteristic.There are so many subsystem in this item. This dissertation has discussed the logic design and physical design of Database in GBR radar simulation system , and the design of the Post-Run Analysis subsystem. They are the following:(1)Some form structure and use of data type in the system database which is different from the nomarl database, such as use of image data , principle and subordinate table.(2)Physical design also has special design , table dividing into some areas and set named data cache for accelerating the speed of visite and store the data.
