Software Design And Implementation Of CDMA Wireless Terminal Fixed Wireless Phone

With the fast development of the techniques of mobile communication and computer, the requirement of personal communication become more widely. The CDMA technique which has predominant competition by itself has become the key techniques of the future mobile communication. So it is the demand of mobile communication's development and the different structure of market for applying the CDMA techniques to the wireless access terminal products (such as Cell Phone, Fixed Wireless Phone, Fixed Wireless Terminal, Car Phone and Detection System)etc to transmit voice, short message service(SMS) and support data service etc. It has highly applied value. The Fixed Wireless Phone with CDMA techniques can provide fixed wireless communication service fast and economically by using wireless network. In allusion to the one fold function of Fixed Wireless Phone and the default of making against to compete with kindred products at present, considering the design of software, the paper realizes the function of SMS and authentication of Fixed Wireless Phone for fulfilling the different demand of client.First, the DMSS software of CDMA wireless access terminal equipments-Fixed Wireless Phone based on the QUALCOMM MSM5105 chipsets hardware platform and REX embedded operating system is mainly researched in this paper, and the guideline of software design from driver to upper user interface is coordinated, and the running platform of software that is REX real time operation system is introduced briefly.Then according to the standard IS-637B, the protocol of SMS is analyzed in detail, and the flow chart of sending/receiving SMS is given, and then the flow of sending/receiving SMS in DMSS software platform is designed detailedly. By using C programming language and the program of embedded system, the function of SMS of Fixed Wireless Phone based on the mobile communication standard of cdma2000 1X is designed. Through testing, the function of sending and receiving short messages in wireless network environment is realized, and the result of signaling test is presented.In the following of the paper, after analyzing the structure of Fixed Wireless Phone software with Removable User Identity Module(R-UIM) card associating with the related authentication specification, the flow chart of authentication and the updating of shared secret data of Fixed Wireless Phone with R-UIM card are given, and also the design in the DMSS software platform. Based on the designed flow chart by using C programming language and the program of embedded system, the function of the authentication of Fixed Wireless Phone with R-UIM card is designed and realized in order to prevent that identification of Fixed Wireless Phone is peculated.At last the conclusion and expectation are presented in this paper.
