For the continuously development of computer application system and the volatile increase of the data capacity , there is a great new challenge to the computer storage system's reliability and performance.Such as telecom, bank and stock, their data capacity rapidly increase. With rapid grow of their user, their user data capacity great increse. A great deal of data need transfer and store. So this results in many new storage structure.The thesis summarizes study and fruit as follows:Introduce some concept of storage system and their characteristic.Analyse some type structure of storage system. And quote some guideline of reliability. In virtue of the guideline we build models of reliability about storage system.Analyse some type reliability of storage system. Analyse some type structure of backup. Qualitatively and quantitatively analyse the reliability of the backup' s structure.When we design project, we must take into account reliability of system, we must too take into account cost of system. Finally we can design storage project adapting to industry oneself.
