The technologies of CAN-bus derive from the industry of automobile. And work up gradually to become a much popular standard for high-speed network protocol in the automobile network. The application of CAN-bus not only decreases the quantities of link-lines and pins for controller interface, but also promotes the trend for the network of auto electronic apparatus.The application of CAN-bus has been extended to many other fields .And its protocol also has been a standard bus-protocol for embedded industry-control network of area. The purpose of studying CAN-bus is to understand how to realize its underground protocol concretely and on the base of it we can use CAN-bus to the actual development .At the same time we can get ready to understand and master the high-level application protocol based on the CAN-bus protocol.This paper introduces the CAN-bus protocol and some high-level application protocols. And also designes the application for the control of automobile air condition, which consists of four functional node and a communication-test node.Due to the importance of CAN-bus in the embedded industry-control network of area and purpose that we can realize the nodes function which has many tasks, It is designed to use the real-time OS μC/OS-II to realize the exploring of two nodes based on ARM2100 board. Two other nodes are designed independently. The communication-test node is realized by programming in the computer. The application protocol is established and realized by the way of software and hardware. During this process, the independent CAN controller and the chip integrated CAN are used to make the exploration. The resolution for the flow of exploration is made .And at the same time the details that how to use μC/OS-II to make the exploration for the nodes which had many tasks are also made.The system debugging after achieving the software and hardware for system is done. And the result basically reaches the point that the application design requested.
