Based On The Ieee 802.11 Wireless Access Research And Realization

With the popularization of the Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN), variable types of new operation have been presented one after another. WLAN based on IEEE802.11 is a new and booming branch in data communication, which has a promising future.Among the WLAN networks, the Wireless Network Card is one of the most important devices. With the Wireless Network Card, the mobile client can take part in a wireless work group and the WLAN can be acceded to a LAN. So a mobile client is able to communicate with other mobile clients of the wireless work group and all the clients of the acceded LAN.This dissertation richly studied the technology and capability of the MAC layer of the IEEE 802.11. With that foundation, the paper described how to use the Wireless Network Card TL-WN620G and Wireless Broad Band Route TL-WR641G which were produced by TP LINK to realize the wireless access. Afterward the design of software is completely introduced. The software is designed to transmit the audio files and video files collected from the experiment base between two stations and play the files in real time. The functions and the processes of each software module are presented in general.
