High-power pulsed source is the equipment that provides electromagnetic energy for pulsed power load. Traditional control system of high-power pulsed source has a lack of integration and intelligence, and the problem of extension.To resolve the problem of the control system, a new control system structure has been designed. The new control system is based on embedded control technology and fieldbus technology, and controls and manages devices of high-power pulsed source effectively.This paper introduces the new control system structure, embedded control panel, and control application software. At first, It discusses the new control system structure. The devices of high-power pulsed source access to embedded control panel via CAN bus, and the control panel can control and manage them effectively. New device can be appended to high-power pulsed source, and access to the control panel via CAN bus easily. Secondly, It gives analysis of the embedded control principle, including micro controller, peripheral bus, peripheral device. Man-machine interface of the control panel has been designed for the interaction of manipulator and the control system. At last, control application software has been designed for realization of the main functions that charge control, discharge control, security protection of high-power pulsed source. The application software has passed the test in emulation environment.In addition, this paper discusses software anti-jamming technology, and analyses the watch dog technology(WDT). What's more, WDT has been applied in the control system of high-power pulsed source.
