The velocity of paper documents scanning equipment's is no doubt the most important target that the customer concerns, in works that transforming the mass paper documents into the electronical documents, it will affect its competitive power directly. Thus image gathering and transmission technology took its essential technology is no doubt a quite active domain studied by people. This article attempts to use the PCI bus to transmits the high speed image to PC, after gathering and earlier period of processing, thus it will completes scanning the documents , enhances the scanning velocity, strengthens the competitive power in the domestic and foreign documents scanning technology.In the basis of analyzing the domestic and foreign scanners present situation and the technology of digital image gain , this article unifies commonly used image sensor CIS and CCD earlier period research work - image photoelectricity transforms, the signal output and the gathering control principle at present to carried on a new kind of processing system research that based on gathering image by PCI bus in high speed. This technology used CIS as the image sensor, utilize simulation gathering and the programmable logical component to complete the simulation transformation and the real-time control, the real-time processing separately, transmit the image data that has pretreated by the high speed PCI bus to the computer, obtain the good digital image, in order to carry on the later period imagery processing - image to cut minute, the OCR recognition, the bar code recognition and so on.This article determined the optical system's main parameter. In the basis of analyzing the technical route which this article proposed, it determined the hardware principle of design and design the concrete hardware electric circuit.
