Multimedia Resource Management In The Network Audio And Video Publishing System

File transfer, the core technology of the "multimedia resource management system", plays an important role in consistency and reliability of multimedia files, which also affects system's expansibility.By transferring multimedia files, the system can reali2e the synchronization of some specific files between the servers. When these specific files accessed by the users, within the VOD module, part of the "Langchao Netmedia Broadcast Management System", will redirect to the servers which is not so busy among all the servers.In this paper, the "Multimedia resource management system" was designed and carried out. This module not only improves the ability of the whole system, but also gets ready to improve the whole system to server more powerfully in the future.During the time of designing and developing of the system, as written in the paper: research, design and development was carried out step-by-step.During the prophase of system research, I studied the architecture of the system carefully, such as broadcasting of the stream media, VOD, the former multimedia resource management system which is based on the software provided by the third unit, background management platform and so on. For example, the file transfer software based on the third unit, it is hard to control the process while transferring the file, much more system and networks resources are consumed, then broadcasting was effected too much to server rightly,which will reduce the ability of the whole system.I researched the networks used by our customs: in the north of changjiang river,CNC (Chinanetcom) is popular,while in the south of the changjiang river, China TeleCom is popular,but the bandwidth between them is very low. By research above, I was familiar with the architectur of the system, the weakness of the whole system, and hold first record and make good basement for system design in future.During stage of system design and code, I confirmed the architecture of the system firstly, and separated the system into several modules.For these modules, which 1 designed and coded carefully, including file transfer, databse and the WEB.
