Mobile Gis Concept Of System

With the rapid update of information, enormous new space information is required not only by the government and the enterprise but also by the society and individual. At the same time, the mobile GIS develops rapidly with the broad applications of advanced technology. GIS's destination is mobile GIS. Carrying out research of mobile GIS, developing relevant techniques and owning Intellectual Property are significant to our country.Following the presentation of the research background of GIS, the GIS used under mobile calculation environment, especially the key techniques (such as embedded GIS techniques, modern communication, mobile calculation and GPS) and basic theory (including basic working principle, data model and mobile model) related to the mobile GIS is studied in this paper.The concept, character and system structure of the mobile GIS is discussed in detail on the basis of presentation of the GIS development process and the products in the home and foreign markets and their function, property and application field. The application frame is also designed.And then some points related to the system development are analyzed. The development target, the development environment and the function pattern of the system are put forward. The logical system structure is also presented.Finally the applications of mobile GIS in the society and people's daily lives are introduced via one actual application in SuZhou Power Supply Company.
