With the growth of software complicity and scope, it becomes more and more important of software reusability and maintainability. Component-based system (CBS) has the properties of high reusability and maintainability, so it becomes the hot-point of software development in recent years. We focus on requirement analysis, component library, and how to select the component to discuss how to construct Component-based software with high quality.Compared with traditional software development method, component-based software engineering differs importantly from it in that components are extracted throughout the lifetime of component-based software engineering, of course including requirement analysis stage. Referring to the theory of network layered reference model, we use layered software construction method to identify components in the early stage of software development, which improve the development efficiency of component-based software engineering.There mainly exist two classification schemas, which are systematic classification and faceted classification. Although they have been widely used today, there still exist some disadvantages, such as the difficulties in managing the classification table, the bad immediacy of the classification table and the complications in tagging etc. Based on the analysis of the two classification schemas, we combine the two managing methods and improve some kind of novel component library classification schema, which improve the management of classification table by using systematic classification and faceted classification simultaneously.Based on the analyzing of COMTEK-λ technology, Operative-Section, and their advantages and disadvantages, we improve the method, named COMTEK-λ- 0 method, which from the point of software quality, uses redundancy technology suitably, as to construct higher qualified component-based system with lower cost.Finally, we validate the method improved in this paper by using the purchasing management system of Shanghai Yayun Textile Company. We gain the result from compare and analysis: COMTEK-λ- 0 method possesses high capacity-price ratio. With the limitation of cost, this method can improve the software reliability of component-based software engineering.
