The Research Of Component Retrieval Method Based On Ontology And Facet

Component-based Software Development is an effective way to solve the software crisis. In the development of reusing the component, the component management system plays an important role. The component classified way and the retrieval is one of the most basic and the most core functions in the component management system. The traditional component description and retrieval way lacks of semantic description of the information, it is hard to find the exact component matching to the requirements, and therefore it is hard to achieve the purpose of sharing the resource and reuse.According to the above problem, this paper gets a project which oriented the information field of public, inspection, the law and the judicature as its research foundemental, and brings the ontology technology based the facet classify description, establishing based on the semantic component classification and the description structure, it can establish the semantic component-based, and extending to parse the query request by the ontology in order to improve the precision and the recall, and setting up a base of sharing the information and integration the components of different component-base, and solving the knowledge express and the knowledge share,and so it can effectively develop by component-based software development. This paper researches on how to describe the component and retrieval the component on by ontology technology. The main research of this paper is:The paper proposes a conformation method of domain ontology based on software engineering, which is described by OWL (Web Ontology Language). OWL defines concepts and relationships among concepts explicitly and formally. So OWL can explicitly define function semantics of component in the level of ontology and provide semantics to description and retrieval of component.Having analyzed the principle, technology and status of the traditional component retrieval, the paper proposes a model of component retrieval based on ontology and facet. It also describes the design idea and the process of searching of the system in detail. In the system, user can specify query in natural language, which yields a flexible and refined by utilizing the domain knowledge embedded in domain ontology.Finally, the main problems that occur in the component area with ontology technology are summarized and the possible future works are mentioned.
