The dissertation mainly focuses on the theory and design of Ka-Band coherent transceiver front-end, and the transceiver front-end design, assembling and testing are also given.Firstly, the characteristics of millimeter-wave and its applications are introduced. It also gives the latest development of millimeter-wave transceiver and forward the target of technology. And then, associated with the subject's requirement and the realistic conditions, the system proposal is confirmed. According to the proposal, two millimeter-wave phase locked sources are locked on a crystal oscillator. The one of the phase locked source is used for steady carrier wave in transmitter, the other is used for local oscillator. Through the proposal, coherent transceiver front-end is achieved. From chapter three to chapter five, the three key components of the system: millimeter-wave phase locked sources, multiple frequency local source, low noise amplifier are designed and tested. In chapter six, the assembling and test results of the transceiver front-end are given. Finally, we analysis the circuits and bring out the improved means. |
