Applied Research, Embedded Single Board Computer Man-machine Interface

Embedded System is one of the most important concepts all over the world. At present, Embedded System is defined widely in our country as follows: It is the special system of computer focused on the application, and based on the technology of computer, while it can be clipped in software and hardware, and can be adapted to the system of application that is strict on the function, reliability, cost, cubage and dissipation. Otherwise, the controlling systems with the features of the embedded system in product can also be called Embedded System.Embedded System is another new aspect of development in technology after the IT network. It has the advantages as follows: smaller cubage, better performance, lower cost, higher reliability, and direct to the industry application. As a result, it has been applied in the fields of military affairs, national defense, consumed electron, network communication and industry control.At present, EIP (Embedded intelligent platform), as a branch of the Embedded System, has been developed and researched all over the world. The life style of us has been influenced: especially in the fields of finance, telecom, education and so on. SBC (Single Boar Computer) plays an important part in EIP. Embedded SBC is similar to the PC in the aspect of theory and function. But it has smaller cubage which has the function of PC, so it can be embedded in many systems.In my paper, HMI (Human-machine interface) based on embedded single board computer, as one of the branch of embedded system, has been researched.HMI is one of the most important parts of Embedded System .It has been used in the interaction between human and machine. HMI can make use of the keyboard, LCD, I/O unit and so on. In my paper, I select the SBC EC3-1542CLDN board, and the embedded developing board FS44BOX, to make the research of HMI, and design the system of NC (Network computer).
