Many present researches are focusing on Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) with the increase of IT Systems and the extension of application fields, exorbitant maintenance cost of legacy systems on which enterprise critically depend for their day-to-day business operations. Instead of replacing legacy systems, EAI leverages legacy system functionality in meeting the new requirements. Recent interest in Semantic Web and Service-Oriented computing has accelerated the trust on EAI.The paper aims at providing the enterprise application framework named WSEAI-A which is based on Web Service and support all kinds of integration flexibly and dynamically. Then the BPEL engine is introduced to execute business process automatically. And the composition of Web Service will be studied to strengthen the efficiency of Web Service discovery.Firstly the paper show the theories and key technologies which are related to EAI. Based on the analysis and comparing the existent EAI framework, WSEAI-A framework is presented. It used XML schema to validate XML messages. To provide a shared vocabulary for the specification of semantics, ontology is adopted. This framework has the following five layers, data storage layer, application layer, service layer, integration layer, client access layer. The integration layer is the core. Automation composition of Web Services is implemented in this layer. In addition, we analyze the requirements of a Ltd. and applied WSEAI-A into a project of that company. At last, we give our deep research fields on WSEAI-A in the future.
