From 1950's, conservators had began to use polymers in relic conservation. Nowadays the using of polymer for conservation is an important way of preservation. However for the limitation of photo-oxidative stability of organic conservation materials, some features of polymers used in the culture heritage field have been changed during the radiation of light. The traditional research on conservation materials highlighted protection features of culture heritage. There are few studies about the photo-oxidative stability of organic conservation materials, and no report about photo-stabilization of them.In this paper the commonly used relic preservation materials had been stabilized by addition of UV-Absorbors. And the photo-oxidative stability of the stabilizated polymers were investigated with attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS). According to the data of our investigation, we made forward the best way of stabilization for the conservation materials commonly used.Paraloid B72 is an important conservation material, while the photo-oxidative stability of this material isn't excellent. Therefore we stabilized Paraloid B72 by five kinds of UV-Absorbors, UV326, UV327, UV328, UVP and UV 531. Based on the investigation of the photo-oxidative stability of these materials, the best stable way of B72 was selected, that is stabilization with 3 % UV327.MDI-polyurethane is a kind of common preservation material. However the photo-oxidative stability of this material is no good. It often becomes yellow during the photo-degradation. The MDI-polyurethane was stabilized by several kinds of UV-Absorbors and the mixture of them. From the data of durability's investigation the of these materials, the best stabilized way was concluded, that is stabilization with 0.5%UV328+0.5% UV531.Epoxy-resin is another conservation material commonly used in practice. But its photo-oxidative stability is poor. It was stabilized with two kinds of UV-Absorbors. And from the experimental results, it had been concluded that the best stabilized way...
