This is a project to make a management system that manages devices and inner network. Today, enterprises have a higher requirement on the safety and stabilization of their devices. As a result, either manual management by administrator or self-manual management by some small tools can not be adapt to current large computer network. That's a new challenge to network management software. Our project is designed to cater for the requirement.Totally, the traditional network management software has a common problem, its function is single. Our inner network management system solved the problem. Our system has integrated lots of functions models, such as assets management, server performance management, behavior management, software distribute, systematic loophole detect, etc. This paper introduces the background of this system, analyses the technical trait of SNMP protocol, and then we can find the benefit of SNMP protocol compared to other protocols. So we use the architecture of the inner network management system based on the SNMP and Agent. The System is divided into server, agent, protocol and console. Then this paper gives the architecture of server and agent, introduces the design and implementation of this architecture. After that, it gives the design and implementation of the function models. We write some code to implement some base command of SNMP protocol and encapsulate them. We use SNMPv3 protocol as the protocol between server and agent, because of the security of communication. This paper mostly recommends topology discovery, asset management, user management and system audit. It gives the definition and implementation of system architecture, data structure, interface, function model implementation, Ul and so on.
