As the popular encode algorithms are complicated and take up a lot of system resources such as bandwidth and CPU time, the Easy to Compress Algorithm (E2C) is an elegant algorithm consisted of 2 encoders, namely the Same Value Encoder and the Little Scope Encoder. This algorithm can encode both the A-Low and the μ-Low PCM value at average compress rate of 45% without losing any information. This paper introduces ho the algorithm works, as well as result analysis and perform evaluation. This paper introduced a VOIP System, including its design and architecture. First, we introduced what is VOIP, how it works and the general architecture. Secondly, we discussed Coders, the key component of the VOIP system. In this chapter, we enumerated some popular encoding algorithms. Then we described the E2Compress algorithm in details. At last, we gave an VOIP system based on the E2C algorithm. The E2Compress algorithm is easy to use. This coder is composed of 2 encoders. They are the Same Value Encoder and the Little Scope Encoder. This algorithm can comfortably encode both the A-Low and the μ -Low PCM value. And the encoded value can be easily decoded to the source PCM value without any damage. In the term of encoding, the compress rate is variable, and the average value is 45%. This paper covered how the algorithm worked, the test result and the evaluation.
