At present, CCD is one of the most widely used opt-electric detective device, the image acquiring system based on CCD is also widely applied in many fields such as military, aircraft, Medicine, Chem-Engineering. CCDs with Mega pixels are popular on the market, the image acquisition and processing system based on ten-mega CCD is still on the stage of research and development at the lab. Based on present situation, a novel image acquiring system with very-high solution CCD is proposed in this paper. Due to using a very-high solution CCD, the system employs a parallel concept to handle the high mount of data and the high data transfer rate, and solves the bottleneck between the processing ability and the huge mount of data.A brief introduction of the project including the main content of the paper and the significance of the system is formulated in the first chapters. Chapter Two introduced the basic principle of CCD, CCD's development, present, tendency and the structure of image acquiring system based on CCD. It is given in Chapter Three that the hardware designs of system. The following two chapters formulate the protocols used in this system and the software development of them. At last, the performance of this image acquiring system is analyzed in the sixth and seventh chapters;here summary of the whole system is also discussed.
