Network Operations Management System

Job management system is resource manage software based on the OS (operation system). Early job management system is used to enhance the batch system of OS. With the development of computer science, modern computer is changing from single processor to cluster. In the same time, widely use of network makes job management of OS itself cannot meet the demand of users. It is necessary to develop special job management software based on the OS.This thesis is based on a special Job Management System—Multi LAN Job Management System (MLJMS) and accomplishes some research on the system structure, the job communication strategies, the expanding of supported platform of the Job Management System. Related work is listed below:1. Give a summary of the history and trend of job management system. Set up a standard for the evaluation of job management system, and this standard is used to evaluate MLJMS.2. In multi-LAN network environment, the communication strategy is improved for faster request response and better system efficiency.3. Job Management System supported platform is expanded by exploiting and deploying 64-bit Job Management System that can be run on IPF platform. IPF is new IA-64 architecture process chip that developed by Intel and HP.These three questions arise while the job management system developed. A widely recognized evaluation standard leads to the new development of job management system. Supporting to complex network and high-level hardware decided whether job management system would be used on high performance computing or not in the future. This paper is aimed to expand the Supporting to complex network and high-level hardware of job management system.
