Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) plays a more and more important role in recent wars. Further research on networking problems of UAVs should be taken into consideration to more effectively combine UAVs with the integrative combat information network. This paper investigates the medium access technology, routing and data scheduling algorithm of UAVs network under layered structure, and the main points are listed as follows,1. Analyses the characteristics of UAV platform and paylbads, as well as the architecture for UAV BLOS communication. The layered conception includes the backbone layer, tactical layer and communication sustainment for battlefield.2. According to the specialized structure and the evaluation of communication capacity analyses for common medium access methods, a set of access mode is proposed. Specially, a self organized synchronization algorithm ESMA takes the focus for tactical communication service, which shares a better robustness and efficiency.3. An adaptive Routing strategy underlay the self organized UAVs networks due to various channel condition, including the DSR for steady link and directional flood method DREAM for the unsteady one.4. Existing data scheduling algorithms are analyzed after theoretical deducing and experiment results, and this may help in UAVs with data scheduling strategy.
