Secure Protocol Based On Mobile Agent System

Mobile agent paradigm provides a new method for distributed computing. This technology has many virtues and has a bright prospect. However, from one platform to another, mobile agent arouses serious secure issue. How to protect mobile agent against agent platform is especially the most obstacle to the application of the mobile agent technology. So it' s valuable both in theory and in practice to research the security issue and cast about the revolution of mobile agent system. The main contents of this dissertation can be summarized as following aspects:This paper introduces the theories, the current research status of the mobile agent and mobile agent system.Secondly, it discusses the issue of the security of mobile agent syetem.Then it comes up with a secure protocol for agent moving and expatiates its particular procedure. This protocol which is based on the agent travel history, allows the agent owner to detect the illegal alteration to the agent' s code, state and control flow in some condition. It' s rather secure, can be used to detect alteration to the agent and to prevent from "copy and replay" attack.This paper also improves the secure protocol, makes it concise and easy to implement in the special application environment.At last, a procedure simulating a simple electric trade is provided to demonstrate the efficiency of the protocol.
