Research On Mobile Agent Security Mechanism

Mobile Agent technology is a new distributed technology that is worthy of being developed longly. In contrast with traditional distributed technology, Mobile Agent technology has many advantages as well as wide applied potential in many fields. However, the security problems of Mobile Agent System have been a huge obstacle of applying Mobile Agent technology. In those security problems, the security of Mobile Agent is more remarkable.On the basis of deep study of current security mechanisms of protecting Mobile Agent and drawbacks of themselves, a security mechanism based on credit for Mobile Agent protection is proposed in this paper. The main work of this thesis is summed up as follows:(1) The security requirements of Mobile Agent Systems are different in different kinds of application fields. To confirm the researching domain, this paper constructs a Electronic Commerce Oriented Prototype of Mobile Agent System(ECOPMAS), and the requirements analyze of this prototype is also offered. These will help to restrict and pinpoint the target of security mechanism in this paper.
