In this paper we discuss a kind of real-time monitoring system including illuminate system, optical system, scanning and focusing system, video transport system and software system. This monitoring system can monitor bouncing state of microshperes which, with a diameter range form 200 microns to 500 microns, are placed from observation point about 1.2 meter.We had designed a special illuminate system to hold down the effect of fluorescent light. Through the optical system built-up with tele-microscope QM-1 and general shooting lens, microspheres are imaged onto the CCD. Video detection system by means of personal computer captured and disposed every video image with a new technology of digital image processing which can effective specify background, moving objects and static objects. A warning signal could be given as long as the system detected a static object.The monitoring system could complete such functions as below:1) monitoring microspheres in two fields of view (close-view and distant-view) which can be switched by operator;2) When monitoring microspheres in the field of close-view, operator can scan the field in a self-defining route.3) Long-term and no-break monitoring and video saving, video can be replayed at any time;4) Digital image distinguish system can effective specify moving microspheres and static microspheres.This system was designed for monitoring microspheres, but the thoughts and methods can be suitable for other monitoring system. |
