IT teachnology has been applied to the lottery system. At present, the importance is explored to video lottery system, no-paper lottery system and credited lottery system, at the same time of consummate. The message from China welfare lottery issuance and management center, the "video lottery" is just at beginning, there is no mature and large-scale video lottery system in China market. But video lottery has good freground from long term. It is beleived video lottery system will become the next sale increase point. So there is an exigent need of video lottery system.We mostly investigate the design method of video lottery system based on J2EE platform and EJB technology in this paper. The design method of video lottery system is the specification of a computing platform for distributed components based on Java technology. This application adopts several technology of J2EE, such as JSP, Servlets, EJB and so on. Several design patterns can be used to improve the performance in Video lottery system. We used front controller to realize convenience navigate and composite view which lower the reduplicative code to provide the view. The EJB technology is used in business logic, which can reuse the software availably and reduces the cost of development and maintain. In EJB there is a stateless session bean to access all other beans, which can realize the twin between user interface and business logic, and raise the excution efficiency.The innovation in this paper is sperate user interface from business logic and backstage servers, which enhance development efficiency and reuse. We also deeply investigate the EJB in persistence best practices and EJB best practices. We present a kind of modularized mode in lottery system area which is create, deploy, and maintenance enterprise web application. Base on this platform, we can realize quickly develop and deploy multilayer application system.
