The main content of the research is the frequency source in telemetry and telecontrol system of Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV). Since the performance of master oscillator in the transmitter and local oscillator in the receiver couldn't meet the requirements in the past, the security and the stability of the data link of UAV were reduced, and developing a new frequency source with self-feature was essential.According to the characteristics and the requirements of telemetry and telecontrol system, a digital frequency source was developed with frequency synthesizer. As a pivotal technical, PLL and DDS have been applied by analyzing the feature and the expansibility of frequency synthesizer at present. Through analyzing the theory of PLL and DDS, a new frequency synthesizer that based on DDS and PLL was recommended, and the feasibility was discussed later. A modified project was given by analyzing the special requirements of the master oscillator and the local oscillator.Depending on above analysis, we developed a master oscillator of transmitter with new-style alterable module based on MC12210 and a local oscillator of receiver with new-style DDS+PLL based on AD9858. It is proved that they met the requirements of application by practical tested-data.
