In the process of informationalization, it's necessary for the informationalization of enterprise to establish an enterprise information system. An excellent information system can make enterprise more competitive. With the development of Internet/Intranet technology, the enterprise information management system based on B/S (Browse/Server) has been popular. As the new platform for the web application of Microsoft, .NET is very powerful combined with the theory of tiered to establish an enterprise information system and it is an efficient technology to establish a new enterprise information system faced with web application, especially for a large one. However, with the deep analysis of .NET theory and relative technologies and methods, some defects are found, such as immoderately repeated development, lower efficiency of codes and higher workload of module transplant.Combined with the project of the enterprise information system named SMEiS of Nanjing Cmodes Software Co., Ltd, a scheme of enterprise information system is introduced. System architecture, major design, system initialization and page abstract are expounded. Besides, for the defects mentioned above, a solution based on .NET and N tier architecture and entity model is presented. It commendably abstracts background and page logic and improves development efficiency through the mapping between business data model and entity model with XML format. Finally, some important function modules such as popedom management, organization management, project management and finance management are discussed.Besides, theory of workflow is studied. Referenced to the model recommended by Workflow Management Coalition, the workflow system is combined through defining the workflow model and binding the workflow control with the page. The integration of business logic and business flow is achieved.
