The blank-holder force is a key factor in sheet forming. Firstly, the paper introduced the development of the Variable blank-holder force and the applications of modern control theory in blank-holder force control.Based on the hardware configuration of the eight-point blank holding force control system, this paper took the blank-holder force control in rectangular box drawing as research object and used the fuzzy control algorithm which quite commonly used on the hydraulic control system in last few years to take the core control algorithm. Besides, this paper finished the design of the algorithm of the fuzzy control by making research design of the fuzzy control rule base and the roasoning unit. And it hade made it practiable to code the the algorithm of the fuzzy control in VB language. At last through to the system simulation result research, the input and output parameters of control algorithm mathematical model had determined and the control algorithm feasibility as well as the control system stability, Rapidity as well as accuracy had confirmed.Beside mentioned above , this paper also finished the design and the realization some function blocks of the eight-point blank holding force control system including the PC monitoring-control software ,the PLC control software and the hardware design and implementation of the partial electrical system. Also it finished the joint debugging of the PC monitoring-control software , the PLC control software and the electrical system. At the end of the paper a rectangular box deep drawing experiment was carried out in order to carrying on the systemic debugging and verifying the systemic function at present. In system debugging , the existed' questions were discovered and proposed so it has built the foundation for the following work.
