Network Security And Protection Technology Research And Application

With the rapidly-growing of networking, the harsh situation on networking security has been analyzed in the thesis. Then some mainly security technology were discussed in detail. Some short-comings of the technology were also been point out. Third, the differences between the traditional ways of detection and the way in a new networking environment have been studied.The main works of the thesis are follows:· The paper presents a fast string-matching algorithm-MCW over the network platform , the experiments demonstrated that the number of memory accesses of MCW were less than the other two algorithms, and the algorithm is more efficient.· The author has established and accomplished the distributed network intrusion detection system — HKNIDS , and it combines the knowledge-based IDS and anomaly-based IDS into a system.The HKNIDS has improved performance significantly in many functions.· Based on HK_NIDS system,the thesis puts up with completed policies and security structure to the security defense system for SCMIS.At the same time,we have designed the complete solution for the networking security on dealing with fire wall, intrusion detection and anti-virus technologies.· At last, the author have evaluated and analyzed the effect of the research result, and some improvement advises were prompted.
