And this system is built up according to the thought of Object-orientated programming, along with the technics of PDU format, serial communication and database design and AT commands by Visual basic 6.0.Using SMS, GSM Modem and the police information database, the basic information of the vehicle and driver can be queried. And further research is provided as the question of system.According to the test of the practiced, it can basically satisfy the requirements to police information query. Police information query system based on GSM short message is a solution which is the combination of the Mobile-Communication technology and practical industry application, so it has market prospect and promotion value.
