With the flying development of the network multimedia technology, the multimedia application is emerging in endlessly in the Internet, such as VoIP, video conference, video order programmer, and remote education. The data service of the mobile network is transforming gradually from the solo data transmission to the integration transmission including data, voice, image etc. Experts predicts that the demand of the data service from mobile users will reach 40% of the total service requirement in recent years, and the proportion of the real time application will increase continuously. Facing the rapid increase of the QoS requirement, providing the 3G network is already the certain trend of the mobile network development.3GPP2 released the new standard of the cdma2000 system, EV-DO rev A, in March 2004. It has the faster transfer rate: the maximize rate of the forward link is up to 3.1Mbit/s, the one of the back link is up to 1.8Mbit/s. Adding the QoS support, providing the end-to-end QoS guarantee, supporting the better QoS scheduling, and planing network with the data service requirement. EV-DO rev A can assign the network capacity with the different requirement of the surfing application or game, and select the high capacity or low delay with the service demand improving the user experience.The aim of this task is studying and realizing the key technology of the AN QoS mechanism in EV-DO rev A, also the key technology of the user plane of the wireless carrier service. My work is below:Firstly, in the classification method, we studied and analyzed the MFRLP protocol detailedly; gave the MFRLP module design scheme based on the VxWorks operation system; and finished the function code write.Secondly, in the packet scheduling, we proposed PFS-A a packet scheduling algorithm adapting to the wireless QoS based on the PFS of EV-DO rev 0, and analyzed the effection and infection of its parameters in detail. For validating the validity of PFS-A, we used Matlab software to simulate PFS and PFS-A in the condition of varying user amount and varying data service.Lastly, in the access control, to realize the negotiated QoS and guarantee the QoS scheduler under the reasonable load, we proposed AC-A a access control algorithm. And we analyzed the effection and infection of its parameters in detail.The study and realization of the key technology of the AN QoS mechanism in EV-DO rev A is benefit to the widely expansion of the realtime service in mobile network, suiting the trend of the integration development of Internet, and satisfying the abundance demand of the multimedia application from mobile users. In fact, QoS can be actualized in EV-DO rev 0 bysoftware upgrade. Up to August 2004, there were eight commercial EV-DO rev 0 network in the world, the user amount is 8,690,000. In those commercial networks providing the QoS ability have the most practical means.
