The Virtual Reality (VR) technology is a very important branch among computer science, it had expressed rapid increase growing tendency as soon as came forth, and it would play important role in industry & manufacture, digital city, virtual building, training & education, exhibits and entertainment and so on. Modeling and rendering for virtual scene (Virtual Environment) is always the kernel problem in VR, and the problem must be solved at first. Nowadays, there are two methods on the problem: Graphics (Geometry) Based Modeling and Rendering, Image Based Modeling and Rendering, the existing two kinds of methods are provided with their own advantage and disadvantage.This paper had researched the fashion modeling technology of VE. My research focus on GBMR & IBMR, and VE realism increasing technology as coordinate transforming, lighting & shading, hidden surface removal, and texture mapping etc.I had researched on G&BMR modeling technology in 2 years, then I designed themodeling system of the project------Establish Virtual Design Environment, at lastprogramming realized the system based VC and OpenGL software platform.In the progress designed and realized of the system, I had put forward some new methods:1.Based on the modeling of Virtual Object, a new method was proposed which element's origin point was modified.2.Based on the feature of structure and operation in VE, a logical data structure was proposed.3. Based on the modeling of the sky, two improved methods were proposed: rotate the coordinate system of the sphere, and modify the coordinate of the texture.
