| Millimeter Wave (MMW) antenna is one of the most key equipment of many MMW systems. The quality of the antenna is very important to the whole system. Waveguide slot antenna array has been paid more attention in recent years because of its compact structure, high radiant efficiency, large power capacity and good stability. We research MMW waveguide slot antenna deeply and systemically from the following aspects:i) The equivalent circuits of the way of how to calculate the waveguide slot,especially the coupling impedance between each two slots.ii) Simulation and design an 8x8 MMW waveguide slot antenna by using Finite-Difference Time-Domain. The measured result shows the efficiency of the software designed by the author.iii) Design and measure an 8 x 8 waveguide slot antenna array. And the antenna array has been used on some MMW system successfully. |
