In order to improve the stability and precision of the new sensor, a math model of photoelectricity conversion has been set up.The special circuits for light emitting terminal, detecting, amplifying and filtering singnal have been designed. The DSP chip which can work at 100 MHz frequency is used in the sensor system, so the real time ability of the system is significantly improved.Based on the experiment data of the temperature sensitivity of sensor's crystal, the double light roads and software filtering programe has been applied in the system for the purpose of compensating and eliminating the temperature disturbance.Finally, the experimental system has been designed and set up. The system can show instantaneous and virtual voltage values, frequency spectrum on the screen of LCD. The input voltage wave measured and the output wave of the optical fiber sensor have been compared with each other by oscillography. The sensor's stability, reliability and the other performance properties have been experimented and analyzed. The results show that the performance of the new optical fiber voltage sensor meet with the design expected.
