| The paper concentrates its content on a kind of digital image processing system basing on DSP, a high-speed signal processor. The function of the system is to acquire digital video signal, then store them, deal with them and communicate with PC using PCI BUS, etc.In the paper, hardware and software are discussed in detail respectively. The system integrates digital video signal acquisition circuit, expansion data memory , expansion program memory , PCI interfacing circuit and so on. DSP is in charge of the processing of signal and controlling else circuits. The main function of software is to trace target. The signal is pretreated first and then the shape center coordinates of target are calculated. At last the coordinates are sent to the next controlling circuit.The system is specialized in two aspects: one is real time and the other is the visible result. The worked video can be reviewed on PC through PCI bus. |
