With more complexity of the airborne navigation radar, the maintenance of equipment is more and more difficulty。So we should locate and test the radar fault quickly and reduce maintenance time for keeping battle effectiveness。The main content of this paper research the design of the ground testing system for certain airborne navigation radar,and realize the module's location and test for radar! First,referring to technique and development of the domestic and international airborne electronic equipment the ground testing system and studying the actual content of task,we expatiate the testability of UUT(Unit Under Test) and put forward the essential function of the ground testing system for the radar! Secondly, we expatiate the essential theory of Doppler navigation,then analyze each module of the radar and study work principle and signal process. Thirdly,according to task requirement ,we study various test technique and put forward the testing project for the ground testing system. Finally,we analyze the structure of hardware and software of the ground testing system.,then expatiate each module's makeup and correlative key technique in detail.
