People hope that someday our computer can has enough power to deal with and compute anything. Actually, when you're in a simple application program, such as text disposal, if the computer has more power, it can deal with much more problems. For instance, in the idle time, we can make use of the time to check spell and syntax, to display text more clearly, to identify voice information automatically and even to listen to and write something. Computer graphics technology is a research area that requires high interaction ability. When an image is been displayed on the screen, users can repeat to operate on it, and the users operations will effect the production and display of the following image. But if this process has very high speed, users won't notice single image and they will experience a dynamic and continuous process. In the graphics rendering, we have at least 3 goals: more frames in one second, higher screen resolution and more scene objects with good third dimension effect. To achieve these goals, we discuss system framework and how to simplify object's models to speed the rendering. [Goals] 1. Discuss how to improve conventional graphics pipeline. 2. Discuss how to simplify objects'models. 3. Discuss how to speed big scene rendering. [My ways] 1. To eliminate redundant computations on lighting. 2. Use collapse arithmetic to simplify objects'models, and therefore we can get different levels of details, and then we call different level of details under different conditions. [Results] 1. The improvement on graphics pipeline is proved to be effective. 2. Implemented collapse arithmetic. 3. Invent and realize a new method to simplify the models. 4. Designed the implementation scheme of level of details. [Conclusion]...
