Embedded Web Server Smart Home Central Controller To Achieve The Methods Of Research

With the rapid development of the embedded-Internet and the chip technology, Intelligent Home(IH) and Intelligent Building have become a new focus in the information world. The electronic products, which combined Embedded-software with high-speed microprocessor, not only bring the traditional commanding function into reality but also apply the internet and multimedia technology that have ever been used on personal computers. Through the combination of computer science, communication technology and microelectronics, the realization of IH into the internet has come true.This article demonstrates how to apply the embedded-Internet technology which is based on the 32bits chip of ARM9, thus realizing the application of the Embedded-WEB IH Center Unit which is based on Linux in the IH and the no-gap extend of the net by IH Bus. It also explores the application of internet technology based on TCP/IP protocol in IH net, which exchanges with Home Network Protocol (HNP) and monitors the web from a far distance with the help of TDA5051 power line MODEM.In the system, I designed and adjusted both the hardware and software in the Embedded-WEB IH Center Unit and the equipment controller of the PLC interface. The system can realize remote control in internet, indoor control by the Touch-screen and replace the firmware by accessories of e-mail. Compared with the traditional family central controller, this new system completely discards the old PC agent and turns internet technology into an innate function of family system. It also realizes unlimited extension of node by Bus. In the central controlling points, the system realizes the ordinary Bus' extension, supports the connection of different Bus. On the whole, this system is easy to manage and it aims at realizing more functions with the least costs.This article shows a complete scheme on the Embedded-WEB IH Center Unit. Due to limited time and also my limited knowledge, the article is surely not perfect and needs to be improved. Besides, the bottleneck in the development of the IH network still lies in the regularization and the standardization of this field, which cries out to be solved by more people and companies that are interested in it.
