Powerline Communication Method Of The Intelligent Home Network

As known, the 21st century is an information epoch whose core is the network technologies. With the rapid development of the network technology, consuming electronic products are becoming combined with computer and communication technologies closely, which makes it possible to connect household appliances to Internet and to implement intelligence home networks. The slogan Bring the Internet to life brought forward by the corporation Echelon indicates that it is a trend to realize intelligence home networks with computer network developments in the household living field.In solutions to connect household appliances to computer networks, power lines are utilized as transmission medium without laying lines and the plug and play is also realized.Considering large communication interferences, bad transmission reliabilities and low transmission velocities, the theis designs a power line transceiver whose core is the DSP chip. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (abbrieviated as OFDM) is used as modulations and demodulations of signals in the powerlines. In the meantime, analogue filterings and digital filterings are used to resist interferences. Besides, wrapped product codes and intertexture codes are used to reduce transmission errors.After the descriptions of the designs of hardware circuits and softwares in detail, the thesis shows the experimental results with profound analysis in the end.
