Stereotactic radiosurgery is a new subject invented by Leksell in 1951, which is used for knub treatment. Using this instrument, the dose distribution in knub border is very sharp, so it is also named gamma knife.This thesis studies Treatment Planning System(TPS) of radiation surgery, measured a mathematical model for dose calculation,rapid dose calculation, and the way of dose-evaluation.The research work and achievements of this thesis are as following:1. Introducing the development,the history of gamma knife in the world and the the characteristic of gamma knife and the general application of gamma knife in other countries;stating the meaning and content of this thesis.2. Introducing some normal model of dose-calculation,and the calculation of dose distributions by finite element metherd. Giving the metherd of calculation of radiation dose distribution for CT-robot gamma knife.3. Introducing a rapid searching calculation of radiation dose distribution based on the region growing algorithm in 3D for CT-robot gamma Knife,which can reduce the computational time of dose distribution.4. Introduceing some ways of dose-evaluation,and how to calculate.5. This paper also introduces the relationship of the reference frame of CT robot gamma knife TPS and the reference frame of numerical control system,and describs the track of every axis of numerical control.
