New Standard H.264 Software Encoder, And Its Performance Optimization Study, Based On Video Compression

H.264 which is the newest video coding standard designed by the JVT(Joint Video Team of ITU-T and MPEG) adopts mature technology and provides excellent video quality when it pursues the higher coding efficiency and compact expression form.It is the most effective video compression method and becomes a hotspot in the study of video processing field.This paper first introduces the compression and coding principle of video data,and then the main concept of the up to date video coding standard H.264 is emphasized and is compared with the past standard. By this way, we can deeply realise the performance predominance of the new standard.From the coding way.this paper introduces the structural system of the H.264 video encoder and its module constitution.What's more.the video encoder is optimized by the fast estimating search method and the fast integer transform method.By doing so.the coding efficiency and the operation speed are highly improved.
