Special Tooling Design Computer-aided Support System Research And Development

This paper presents the affect of the design philosophy and techniques of product with the development of manufacturing; researches the design methods and the design process management of the special fixture design; puts forward the key technology of the idea and techniques of concurrent product design using in the special fixture design; analyses the status and requirements of the special fixture design and design process management in the motor manufactory of NanFang Motor Co Ltd in detail, designs and develops the special fixture design system based on computer aided support which is distributed and adapts the development of manufacturing that is "Multi-style and litter number", gives the realization of the special fixture's design information integration and design process management, completes the functions of design data management, task planning and scheduling and task evaluation ect in the process of special fixture's design and design process management which combines with the right management of the system, and puts forward efficiently help to the research and improvements of product in the key technical work of the motor manufactory. Eventually the application of this system is introduced.
