| DTV(Digital Television) is the system used to transport,receive ,process,store and control digital TV signals.As a kind of Information Service which involves technology of computer,multimedia and network, STB(Set-top-box) receive and transform digital TV signals into the signals which analog TV sets can display.It is an importment transition product of DTV system. Based on the NEC resoluation design of STB,this paper studies the theories related to Digital Television and software technologies and software development of digital Set-Top-Box。Since Real Time Kernel and its application is very importment in the whole system,so firstly the principle of Nucleus PLUS real time kernel and its application is discussed;Online Updating is a very important function of STB system,considering there is normative approach to implement online updating system and our Set-Top-Box aims to DVB-C,an scheme base on MPEG-2 and DVB-C is proposed, and the related data structures and operations to implement this scheme are detailed. At the same time,the whole hardware and software architecture of this STB resoluation,the Green Hill Multi 2000 embedded IDE ( Intergrated Developer Enviorment)are introduced in this paper. |
