Digital Cable Conditional Access System Receiver Side

Building up the professional channel and Pay TV,advancing the development ofTV by the multi-methods charge mode is necessary for Digital Cable TV,andas the important part of Digital TV broadcasting, the Conditional Accesssystem is the necessary element for realizing Video InformationServices.To build up the charge channel with the support of Encrypt technology,the provotal technology is protect the rights and interests of customers,assure the benefits of program company from technic and low.The whole system contains the sender and the receiver,this thesisaims at the receiver. My work focus on the designment and debug of theSTB's software, the application of Smartcard on STB,the STB can watchthe encrypted program with the entitled card.The emphases of this system is correctly acquiring the ECM andEMM,setting the decrypted CW to descramble-register.Firstly, this thesis introduce two kinds of implementary projects:Simulcrypt and Multicrypt, the files structure and security mechanism.Secondly, this thesis expatiates on the principles and the implement ofthe conditional access system based on MPEG-2 and DVB. Than, I emphasizeon the flows and techniques of implement on STB, the receiver of theconditional access system. Finally, the last chapter makes the summary.
