"mobile Communications" Network Location Technology

"Moving Communication"requires the effective and reliable communication while the network are moving. To achieve this goal, the network needs the ability of topological management and mobility management . This paper introduces location management for "Moving Communication"network,which is used to find out called USER's location and returns it to callee.In this paper,I mainly analyze location update and paging in the network. In typical mobile communication network such as GSM, location area is imported in location management to reduce cost.Only when MS enters the network or moves from one location area to another,location update is needed.But in "Moving Communication"network,RAP is mobile,so there are much more events lead to location update.It's a main difficulty to collect and dispose these enents in this paper. Based on the GSM's location management system,I put forward an active location management strategy for "Moving Communication"network, and compare the strategy importing or not importing location area in the network by simulation.Simulation shows that the active strategy's location management cost is much lower than before,and when location area is imported,the cost of location update will decline but paging cost will rise.USER's calling frequency decides importing location area is active or inactive. To achieve the target of "support all the situations where the communication can process based on the entities of moving communication network",a topology management strategy based on WRP is developed .Simulation shows that in this way,the cost of topology manage is lower than before.
