The CCD image sensors with high frame frequency and big sensing array provide precondition to precisely research on the instantaneous goals. To meet the urgent demand of recording original image with high quality and large capacity, the current real-time image recording system faces severe challenge. Existing image recording technology, such as cinefilm and computer recording technology, is insufficient and difficult to meet the demands. Directly hard-disk writing technology, which is based on the file format, can achieve the real-time and unsqueezed image recording. This method, grounded on the ANSI's (American National Standards Institute) ATA(Advanced Technology Attachment) protocol, fulfils the complex protocol in one single FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip and implements the directly operation on hard-disk and obtains the maximum speed of hard-disk. This method that recording in file format reduces the system data processing cycles and provides possibility for system analyzing and data processing quickly. The contradiction among storing, speeding and integrality of image information has been solved radically. The experimental result shows that this system can work at the speed of 12.5MB/s steadily and has an expandable using space.
