With the development of digital technology, the software radio technology gets the extensive application. Through the A/D or D/A interface, software radio can use the versatile digital devices instead of the old analog ones to get more precise, faster and more flexible performance. This project is a wireless signal detector that can demodulate the signal. Because the information of the detected signal is too limited, the traditional demodualte method for communication signal can not work. After studying software radio technology, we developed a special algorithm for this signal. The demodulation and synchronization are separated in our algorithm and the synchronization is also separated into coarse part and precise part. In precise synchronization, we use the most likelihood estimation of optimum bit synchronization to get synchronization. For better performance, the interpolation and long time statistic are used. There are some particular discussions about the algorithm design implementation and verification of the precise synchronization and arbitrate module in this article. The final test proved the algorithm is precise and applicable. And the artilc showed such results: 1. Gave a model for the pulse head dither and calculate the dither rang. 2. Developed a window algorithm for long time statistic and done a lot of optimize work to guarantee the possibility of implement. 3. Use the variable sample rate technology and interpolate to improve the precise. Whole algorithm has been implemented in FPGAs. Results proved that the whole device can meet the user's needs. The new device can process signal in real time. Compared with the traditional device, it is smaller, cheaper and more easy to use.
