| The electric power system owns large scale communication network, the variety and quantity of the equipments in the network are numerously also. Each manufacturer adopt different net-work management system to manage their equipments, because of incompatibility of data structure and interface, therefore it is much difficult to manage the network of different professional communication in a uniform way as well as to manage on-line equipments of several manufacturer in a uniform way. If the management scope implemented is oriented to a certain particular professional network and the implemented function of network management is oriented to a certain aspect* the quantity of management information will decrease greatly , such as Concentrated management of alarm in transmission network, at the same time the difficulty will decrease evidently.The target of this thesis is designing a concentrated management system of alarm for the network management system of various transmission networks which electric-net company of southern china owns. The alarming information of various network management system of different manufacturer is integrated in a uniform way, and unmanned guard function is carried out by the way of transmit alarm information message. In this thesis the background of research is introduced briefly at first, including a whole design of alarming system on the base of analysis to network management system of South China electric-net company, bring forward three layer model such as alarm collection, alarm management and alarm display. Then bring forward some method to connect the network management system to the integrate alarm management systems by a detailed research for different connective way of different network management system. And then give the disposal method of alarm data and design of alarm management module.
