SMS Short Message Sending And Receiving Of Serial Communication Based On Research And Realization Of Management System

With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, SMS (short message service), one of the most important value-added services of mobile communication, has been improved violently too. In our daily life, the current use of SMS is that people send message to each other for communication. In addition, SMS also can be used in production and management, such as utilizing SMS in remoted monitoring and controlling; adopting SMS into enterprise regular management and customer relationship management to improve the information contacting efficiency. More and more research and development of applications based on SMS has been done. This paper introduces how to combine the SMS receiving and sending function of cell phone with strong storage and management function of computer so as to design and realize the SMS receiving and sending management system based on serial communication for middle or small size enterprise or individual user.At first, the paper introduces the definition, basic processing theory, advantages and application of SMS and analyzes the significance and feasibility of establishing the SMS receiving and sending management system. And then it analyzes and designs the system requirement in general, demarcates the system into two modules: basic communication and high level management, and introduces the selection of developing tools and system database. The basic communication module is important and difficult in realizing the system functions and also is the emphasis of this paper. It mainly contains utilizing Mscomm control to realize the serial communication between computer and cell phone, utilizing AT command to realize the cell phone control and SMS receiving and sending operation, the PDU (Protcol Data Unit) format analysis, SMS content, cell phone number, SMSC number, timestamp encoding and decoding. The high-level management module realizes the system functions and mainly contains sending SMS in single or group, re-sending, reply and reading or clearing the SMS in cell phone. It also realizes other functions such as address management, short message dictionary management, user management, shortmessage sending and receiving diary management and system automatic testing and manual configuration etc. Here the paper emphases the crucial problems and technical difficulty in realizing those functions.Finally, the paper introduces the system interface design and operating test and summarizes the design experience and the work that shall be done in future.
