Xml-based Heterogeneous Data Integration

With the development of computer technology and the popularization of network, heterogeneous data integration has become one of the hotspots in the research. Because XML and the related technology are developing and mature, and XML has special advantages, so it is significant to import XML to research heterogeneous data integration.This paper firstly introduces the background knowledge of XML/semi-structured data, as well as the knowledge of heterogeneous data integration at present. On the basis of the above, we develop an XML-Based Heterogeneous Data Integration prototype system, and we explain the framework, implemental technology and the system feature. Then we introduce our work in detail: we import XML Encryption to research security, compare XML Encryption with SSL, and give an implementation of XML Encryption and XML Decryption; build XML-Based data exchange flat to transform structured data with semi-structured data; define a source view model based on XML, which has a good description for structured data and semi-structured data; define a global view (a view orienting application) based on XML; give an analysis and implementation for query reformulation and query optimization. Finally, we explain and prove these researches by example.
